On my trips away I always take a backpack on board the plane as a carry on. Although I travel to many different places I always seem to pack the same things. Today I’m going share everything I take in my backpack abroad.

  1. Books: On a long flight there's nothing better than curling up with a good book. I personally don’t have any particular favorites but any book is a great escape when you're flying over a vast ocean or some mountainous land.

  2. Headphones and IPad: Before I go away I always download at least 3 movies onto my IPad and make sure that it is fully charged. I also bring my black Sony headphones which I actually bought in Gatwick airport while passing through a few years back.

  3. Food: Although some airlines give you food or snacks I like to take a few of my favorite snacks with me such as potato chips or crackers and sometimes I will buy some fruit to keep me energized. I never drink alcohol or hot drinks on a flight and usually just stick to water.I also never travel without some toffees to chew while taking of. I tend to buy these in airports before the flight takes of.

  4. Pen and Paper: Some paper and a pen is crucial when going abroad. Ideas can pop in your head at any moment!

  5. Camera: Whenever I travel I bring a camera and I always put it in my carry on to keep it safe and in case I discovered the perfect picture moment. Who knew flying over the Venetian Lagoon would be so fascinating.?

That's it for now everyone. What do you pack in your travel on bag? Let me know and thanks for reading.
