On my trip to Bournemouth during February I came across a great Italian restaurant while looking for somewhere to eat. It wasn't far from my hotel so walking there was pretty easy.
When I first stepped through the door it was like you were being transported to Italy. There was a simple green modern color scheme and the interior decor was really intricate and contemporary.
The staff were really nice and eager to help. Some were better than others but overall they were good and we had no problems with getting meals and such.
Now I'll move onto the food. Me and Juliana decided to share the Cheese Fonduta before our main courses which was warm dough sticks with a rich cheesy dip. This was really nice and it wasn't like a full on starter so it kept you going without making you too full to eat your main course.
For main course I had the Ravioli Marittimi which is ravioli stuffed with crayfish, crab, salmon and ricotta in a creamy tomato sauce while Juliana had a simple Margherita pizza. That particular pasta is what sparked my love for ravioli and since then ravioli is always what I've looked for on the menu at an Italian restaurant. Sadly we had to miss out on dessert otherwise we would have missed the performance at the Pavilion Theater but the dessert menu did look promising so if we were to ever visit again I might go check it out.
Although it wasn't a family run all traditional place I thought it was excellent and anyway if I want that kind of restaurant Italy is only a plane trip away! Okay that's it for today. I hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading. Ciao!
