2018 has been incredible! I can’t even begin to explain what 2018 has meant to me but I do have some explanations regarding my presence online to make. 2018 was the second year of my blog being live and let me tell you there were some bumps in the road! I only released 15 blog posts last year (and not all of the greatest quality) and I have neglected this blog as well as my Instagram. This is not going to happen in 2019. I’m off to a fairly slow start because of the introduction of the new Wix blog to my site. This will take a little while to be smoothly inducted but I promise there will be some new and exciting blog posts soon!
Now, I think it's time to celebrate last year!

Places Visited: 12
Trips Taken: 7
Continents Explored: 3
Flights Flown: 28
Airports Passed: 13
I took 28 flights on 6 different airlines to 12 different places last year in the months of February, March, April, May, July, August, October, November and December. As you can see for a non-full time travel blogger this was a lot of traveling and I’m exhausted but I still had to write this post for you all so that I can share what I’ve been up to this year.
February: Southampton/Weymouth
Some of you may have guessed by now that I have family in Dorset who I visit regularly in Weymouth.

April/March: St Lucia
I visited this Caribbean gem for the first time in 2018 and take my word for it when I say it's STUNNING! Despite a pretty, wobbly flight and a slight detour in Barbados the trip was amazing- we ziplined in the rainforest, ate delicious creole cuisine and took a boat trip along the west coast.
May: Southampton/Weymouth/Bournemouth
A similar trip to that of February but this time we stayed in the Hilton in Bournemouth for two nights. Bournemouth is one of my favourite UK destinations alongside London! Comment below your favourite place to visit in the UK…

July/August: Los Angeles/Maui/Kauai/Oahu
8 flights, 7 airports, 3 jeeps and 5 hotels later I had explored three of the most beautiful islands in the Pacific Ocean and tried mochi for the first time! This was my favourite trip of the year by far. From the food to the surf to the adventures we had; nothing can beat it!
October: Bermuda
One of the most uncomfortable flights of my life took us back to the beautiful island of Bermuda. This trip was meant to be a relaxing one for me but I took photos non-stop!

November: Jersey
The penultimate trip of the year for me was Jersey in the Channel Islands. Situated in the channel between England and France this island was pretty fun to explore for a pre-christmas mini break. (Maybe visit in the summer though because during the winter it rains- a lot!)
December: Tenerife
The year ended with a totally unexpected trip to Tenerife for new year. I didn’t take many photos on this trip and so won’t be documenting it much here or on my Instagram however Juliana and I had a unforgettable New Year’s Eve.

That's it for my 2018 round-up! Which was your favourite destination of 2018? Comment below...
Ciao!
