My last trip to London was roughly two years ago during October, so I thought it was time to return, and let me promise you, I wasn't disappointed.

My trip to London started with a plane flight, followed by a train journey and then a quick ride in a cab. The journey finished with my arrival at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, which I have stayed at before. The hotel, while well suited for business visits, also lends itself to be a great place for family visits or short breaks.

Locale Southbank, a restaurant five minutes away from our hotel, was our first stop of the trip. This must have been about my fifth time eating there. I think? The food is delicious especially the calamari with sweet chilli mayo and the classic lasagna, so I definitely recommend it.

A walk along Southbank was our next activity and at night the Christmas Tree in front of the London Eye is positively magical!

The next day started with a walk along the Golden Jubilee Bridge to Covent Garden.

Then we arrived in the beautiful Covent Garden! It is one of my favourite places to visit in London because of the variety of different shops, cafes and photo spots there are.

How could I not stop to take photos of this incredible place?

After a bit of exploration me and Juliana had the honour of attending a performance of The Royal Ballet's Nutcracker. The technical aspects of the performance were fascinating and it truly made it feel like Christmas time!

Our next stop was the magnificently decorated Regent Street.

After exploring along Regent Street we headed down to Carnaby Street!

I've never visited Carnaby Street before and it was pretty awesome!

The evening of my second day in London was pretty busy too. Dinner was simply room service but it was followed by a performance of Aladdin at the Prince Edward Theatre (No trip to London is complete without a West End musical!) We finished the night with a long walk through the maze of London streets as we navigated back to Park Plaza.

The next day started with a visit to Harrods and then a wander around Covent Garden and the surrounding streets.

The day finished with a taxi, train and flight. Overall it was a very successful trip and I hope to return to London in the future. Make sure to head over to my Instagram where I will be posting lots of London photos soon, bye for now!
